Shipping Policy
At Yarnlings, every kit is custom-made specifically for your pet. Because of the personalized nature of our products, all orders are final sale, and processing and shipping timelines may vary based on current order volume.
Custom Order Processing Times
All Yarnlings kits are made to order. Orders typically ship within 7–10 business days, but processing times may vary depending on order volume, seasonal demand, and production capacity.
Because each order is custom, production begins shortly after an order is placed. Estimated processing times are not guaranteed and do not include carrier transit time.
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Pet Photo Requirement
To create your custom kit, we require at least one clear photo of your pet. If a clear photo is not provided at the time of order, or if the photo submitted is blurry, dark, incomplete, or otherwise unusable, production may be delayed until we receive an acceptable image.
Any delay caused by missing or unclear pet photos will extend the processing timeline. Yarnlings is not responsible for delays resulting from incomplete or insufficient photo submissions.
Shipping Methods
Orders are shipped via USPS using the shipping option selected at checkout. Delivery speed after shipment depends on the shipping service chosen and USPS transit times.
Once an order has been handed off to USPS, Yarnlings is not responsible for carrier delays, transit interruptions, or delivery exceptions caused by the shipping carrier.
Order Changes and Cancellations
To keep production moving quickly, orders begin processing right away. For that reason, we are unable to cancel, change, or modify custom orders after they are submitted.

Because each kit is made specifically for your pet, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on custom or personalized items once an order has been placed.

Color and Handmade Variations
Slight variations in yarn color, texture, and handmade details are normal and part of the nature of handmade craft products. These variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
Damages, Defects, Incomplete Orders, or Wrong Item
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, we will make it right by providing a replacement or reshipping any missing parts, as appropriate.
To report an issue, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@theyarnlings.com and include:

Returns are only accepted if specifically requested by our team. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted.
Delivered Packages
Packages marked as delivered by USPS are considered delivered. Yarnlings is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or misplaced after delivery confirmation by the carrier.
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package, we recommend checking with household members, neighbors, building management, or your local post office.
Lost Packages in Transit
If your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at support@theyarnlings.com and we will do our best to assist you in filing a claim with USPS.
Please note that carrier investigations and claim determinations are handled by USPS, and shipping timelines may be affected by the carrier’s review process.
